Season: March 23 to November 21
The KBC Sicily kitesurfing and wingfoil school is located in the world-class Lo Stagnone lagoon, featuring a vast standing area, high wind efficiency, and Mediterranean temperatures. KBC Sicily is the only center to offer a long private sandy beach right on the lagoon. Kitesurfing and wingfoiling in water no deeper than waist-high with plenty of space, stay at Villa Vajarassa amidst the vineyards, and explore Sicily flexibly by rental car.
Stunning bays, historic towns, wineries, and Italian cuisine! Visit Sicily—just a 2-hour flight away.

We will be happy to answer any further questions you may have!
Villa Vajarassa
Live Better at KBC Sicily
You’ll be staying at Villa Vajarassa, a lovingly renovated former winery nestled among olive groves and vineyards. The villa has been completely modernized and reimagined as a unique bed-and-breakfast. It’s located near the lagoon—not right on the spot, but within quick and easy reach.

Wind statistics
The wind usually comes from the northwest (70%). This is sideshore at our beach. It is also thermally reinforced. However, the lagoon also works with all other wind directions and is independent of the tides. The forecasts from Windfinder and Windguru tend to be accurate, but experience shows that there is usually 2-10 knots more wind here. The best wind months are from April to the end of November. In the summer months of July and August, there is a daily thermal wind that starts at noon.

KBC Kitesurfing – Lo Stagnone I spent a week at Lo Stagnone with a friend kitesurfing. We rented bars, boards, and kites at KBC. You can rent equipment for two hours or for the whole day. Equipment insurance is available separately. The owner, Salvatore, is very friendly, as is his entire team:...
