Ras Soma is very easy and inexpensive to reach from Central Europe. The nearest airport "Hurghada" is served by almost all major airports in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, e.g. Condor, TUIFly, SunExpress, Germania, AirCairo, FlyEgypt and Eurowings. The flight time is about 4-5 hours.
From Hurghada to Ras Soma, the journey takes about 30 minutes.

The shuttle from Steigenberger Hotel to the centre
The water sports centre is located south of the Steigenberger Resort on the beach, about 1 km away. You can walk this distance or take the shuttle bus, which departs every hour on the hour from 9 a.m. in front of the hotel entrance. The shuttle bus journey is free of charge.
Shuttle for guests from Soma Bay / North Safaga
If you are staying in a hotel in Soma Bay or North Safaga (e.g. in Soma Bay at the Breakers, Sheraton, Robinson, Cascades, Kempinski or others, including flats, or in northern Safaga at the Palm Royale, Solymar, Caribbean World, Paradise, Movabic, Imperial or others), we will be happy to organise a taxi shuttle for you:
Just call the KBC Ras Soma reception (at least 45-60 minutes in advance) and your shuttle will be organised.
KBC co-operates with a taxi service from Safaga. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel at the agreed time and take you to the KBC centre.
The cost is 7 € per way/car. Please pay the taxi fare directly at the KBC reception.
