We are particularly looking for kitesurfing and wingfoil instructors to teach at KBC Holland for the entire season from April to October 2024.

Job Description

Your tasks:

  • At KBC Holland you are a wingfoil and/or kite instructor in a strong, experienced team of wingfoil and kite instructors, interns and station managers. You will work at a modern kite centre with a permanent location in Workum at the Welgelegen campsite.
  • The main focus of your tasks is the instruction of wingfoil and kitesurfing beginners and intermediates in small groups with a maximum of 6 students in the standing area according to VDWS standards.
  • You will help with all the tasks that arise around the kite centre and during the kitesurfing courses. These are e.g. kite courses (preparation, implementation & follow-up), material distribution, organisation and maintenance, preparation of the kites for the courses, office work, tidying up and more.
  • You independently organise events and camps and accompany training groups on windless days to alternative sports such as wakeboarding and SUP tours.
Skill Requirements

Your profile - what you bring with you:

  • You kite well and you are confident in kite handling. But you have at least as much fun teaching others the sport.
  • You already have kitesurfing training experience.
  • You can wingfoil or are willing to learn and teach wingfoiling.
  • You speak fluent German and at best English and can speak freely and without inhibitions even in front of larger groups.
  • You can adapt the teaching content to suit the target group at any time.
  • You are a licensed VDWS or IKO kite instructor.
  • You are very reliable, never keep your team and students waiting and are a team player.
  • You spread a positive mood, are in a good mood and can motivate your environment.
  • You bring a lot of creativity, a high level of initiative and a willingness to take responsibility.
