Learning the appropriate riding technique is often a great challenge even for old hands: from transporting the sports equipment with its razor-sharp edges on the wings, to handling it in the water, the water start or the right board load ... Foilboarding has little to do with kitesurfing on a Twintip or Directional in terms of the required technique. Rethinking your coordination is already required when it comes to the simple displacement ride with a foil board. In order to finally float away half a meter above the water surface and make the first turns, an extremely sensitive feeling for the board load is required.
