It takes about 20 minutes to reach the Dakhla Wave Spot by SUV.
It’s a perfect spot for waves, as the waves break cleanly over a sandy bottom here, offering ideal conditions for beginners as well as exciting challenges for advanced riders. An experienced guide will accompany you on-site and provide helpful tips for kitesurfing or wingfoiling in the waves.
At the Wave Spot, the wind is usually slightly lighter than in the lagoon, so we only run trips when there are at least 25 knots of wind at the center. We also check the wave height in advance to ensure that conditions are suitable and provide the best possible experience.

Our SUV takes us to Dakhla's Atlantic surf spot in about 25 minutes.
The waves are moderate and break cleanly over a sandy bottom. This makes the spot ideal for beginners looking to get their first taste of wave riding, while also offering exciting conditions for advanced riders.
An experienced guide accompanies the group and provides valuable tips and coaching for riding the waves. Since the wind on the Atlantic is usually weaker than in the lagoon, we only go on this trip if at least 25 knots of wind are measured at our center. Wave conditions are checked in advance.
The area consists of deep water, and no rescue boat accompanies the group. Therefore, this excursion is exclusively suitable for advanced kitesurfers (VDWS Level 5–6).
