In deinem Kitekurs am KBC wirst du mit einem langen Neoprenanzug ausgestattet (ausgenommen am KBC El Gouna im Hochsommer). Er hält dich warm und schützt deine Haut. Die Neoprenschuhe bewahren deine Füße vor Steinen, Unebenheiten und dem Auskühlen. Der Verleih der Schuhe ist an den meisten KBCs im Kurs und Verleih inklusive. Das Sitztrapez erleichtert dir deinen Kite zu halten. Im Kurs wird dich dein Lehrer mit allen Sicherheitsfeatures deines Trapezes vertraut machen. In warmen Regionen trägst du anstatt deines Neoprenanzugs auch mal eine Boardshort und ein Lycrashirt. Im KBC Event ist das Lycra inklusive. Es schützt dich vor UV-Einstrahlung und du wirst auf dem Wasser besser erkannt.
In den sehr sonnenreichen Regionen empfehlen wir dir eine Wassersportbrille. Diese kannst du im KBC-Shop vorab kaufen oder direkt am KBC im Shop vor Ort. Auf dem Wasser solltest du dich unbedingt vor der Sonneneinstrahlung schützen. Die Sonnencreme sollte wasser- und abriebfest sein, wie das Island Tribe Sonnen Gel, das gibt es vor Ort im Shop.
Im Kurs ist der Verleih des Kitematerials inklusive: Das sind ein anfängertaugliches Kiteboard, die Kitebar, der Kite und die Leash. In deinem Kurs erklärt dir dein Kitelehrer alles über das Material und den Aufbau.
How do I learn kitesurfing?
This course is perfect for anyone with previous experience in water sports, snow sports or wind sports and/or for gifted fast-learning individuals. For those who have limited to no previous experience or who simply want very thorough training, we recommend the Intensive Basic Course. The Basic Course consists of 8 hours in a group, spanning over 2-3 days of lessons, depending on conditions. Students will learn the essential elements of kitesurfing in groups of 2 to 6 people. In order to practice and to master the techniques, the second part of the course allows for plenty of practical training time. The aim of the course is to enable you to practice safely on your own after the course.

Equipment insurance
Your kite equipment is insured during the course. However, as soon as you start training on your own, we recommend you take out insurance, e.g. the "Safety Tool" from the VDWS for only 39 euros per year. You can take out this on site - just let us know.
