The municipality has issued the following rules for safety reasons, which we must abide by:
- Children and young people under the age of 14 are not allowed to kitesurf on the lagoon. Therefore, we are not allowed to lend any equipment to kids under 14 years of age.
- All kitesurfers must wear a helmet and an impact protection waistcoat. We ask all our guests to comply with this, otherwise they will be responsible for the consequences (in the form of penalty fees).
- No rental equipment may be issued in winds above 25 knots.
Equipment insurance
Your kite equipment is insured during the course. However, as soon as you start training on your own, we recommend you take out insurance, e.g. the "Safety Tool" from the VDWS for only 39 euros per year. You can take out this on site - just let us know.
