Basic Course
8-hour group course (with a maximum of 6 students) on 2-3 days.
The right choice if you already have previous sporting experience from water and wind sports or if you learn board sports particularly quickly, but have not yet taken a kitesurfing course. The basic course comprises (depending on the wind) 2 to 3 teaching days with a total of 8 teaching hours. In order to practice and internalise the movements you have learned, you will have plenty of practical training time in the second part of the course. You will learn the important elements of kitesurfing in a group of 2 to 6 people (14 years and older). The course is designed in such a way that you can safely practise on your own afterwards.
Contents:
- Material knowledge (boards, 4-line delta kites).
- Material assembly and disassembly
- Safety training (land + water)
- Flight exercises with kite
- Theoretical basics
- Waterstart of the kite (relaunch)
- Bodydrag on space wind
- Waterstart with board
- Riding the first meters of space wind
Please note: If there is no group for the course, the value of the group course will be converted into private lessons, e.g. the 8-hour basic course becomes 4.5 private lessons.

Intensive Basic Course
12 hour group course (with a maximum of 6 students) over 3-5 days.
The right choice if you have no previous experience of water, wind or board sports and have not yet taken a kitesurfing course. The intensive basic course comprises 3 to 5 teaching days, depending on the conditions, with a total of 12 teaching hours. In order to practice and internalise the movements learned, we work with a lot of training time in the practical part of the course to automate the movements learned.
In a learning group of 2 to 6 people (14 years and older) you will learn the important elements of kitesurfing and the interrelationships. The course is designed so that you can safely practice independently afterwards.

Equipment insurance
Your kite equipment is insured during the course. However, as soon as you start training on your own, we recommend you take out insurance, e.g. the "Safety Tool" from the VDWS for only 39 euros per year. You can take out this on site - just let us know.
