Learn to wingfoil for a week in a small group of like-minded people, wingfoil endlessly or hone your technique: In our KBC Wingfoil Event powered by Jelle Stoop at KBC El Gouna you will be coached and trained by professional wingfoiler Jelle Stoop and his experienced teaching team.
KBC El Gouna
KBC El Gouna is the luxurious centre directly on the turquoise kite lagoon of El Gouna. The entire infrastructure is designed with imagination and experience for water sports enthusiasts who want a comfortable sports holiday.
You learn wingfoiling in the large, private kite lagoon on the Red Sea – experienced wingfoilers train on the open sea behind the reef, supervised by the rescue boat. During the whole event week you rent high-quality wingfoil equipment from F-ONE, Duotone and Fanatic or you can store your gear with us. During the breaks at KBC El Gouna, you have every opportunity to enjoy the daily sunshine, eat comfortably and get to know other wingfoilers and kitesurfers.
Jelle Stoop
In these events, Jelle Stoop, the wingfoil school owner from Brouwersdam, the Netherlands, is a guest. With wingfoiling, Jelle combines his previous passions such as windsurfing, surfing, kitesurfing and kite-foiling. Jelle is not only a great water sportsman, but also likes to share his insights about wingfoiling and all the equipment you need to be a happy wingfoiler. Follow Jelle on Instagram
Social programme
In the evenings we offer a social programme: restaurant visits, BBQ evenings or parties (food and drinks and entrance fees are not included in the price). We therefore recommend booking a hotel with breakfast only.
Hotel recommendation
The 4-star Hotel Mosaique is very popular among water sports enthusiasts and, thanks to its central location, is the ideal starting point for your kite event. The KBC Centre is a 10-minute walk away. Enjoy breakfast on the terrace with a view of the marina. After kiting, relax in the swimming pool or at the pool bar. Wi-Fi is available in the hotel and free in the lobby. El Gouna also has other beautiful hotels. We are happy to advise you!
KBC Wingfoil Event powered by Jelle Stoop
Wingfoil event with 6 days of instruction for every level including Wingfoil equipment plus event lycra (only predefined dates).
Services:
- 6 days of instruction by Jelle Stoop and his team with up to 5 hours of training per day
- including equipment (high quality wings, board and foil from F-ONE and Duotone/Fanatic, impact protection waistcoat and helmet
- Station usage fee
- KBC Event Lycra
Training language: English, Dutch and German
The event has a maximum number of participants of 12 and takes place with a minimum of 4 participants.
One licensed Wingfoil instructor supervises a maximum of 4 students per group.
If there is a windless day or a day with too much wind over 25 knots, we will do alternative activities together, such as theory sessions, wakeboarding in the cable park, stand up paddling in the lagoons, snorkelling on the reefs, equipment knowledge and selfrescue. The activities are included in the event price. Therefore, we do not issue vouchers for windless days at events.
