In the event of a windless day or a day with wind speeds exceeding 25 knots, we’ll organize alternative activities together, such as theory sessions, stand-up paddling, an alternative sports program, equipment training, and self-rescue drills. These activities are included in the event price. Therefore, we do not issue vouchers for windless days during events.
Please note: Our events thrive on group interaction and are designed for a minimum of 3 participants. Typically, 4 to 12 wingfoilers participate together—it is precisely this interaction and shared learning that give our events their special character. A licensed wingfoil instructor supervises a maximum of 6 students per group.
If only one or two participants are booked for a session, the training will of course still take place. In this case, the full event price will be credited toward a suitable alternative training format, such as an ongoing course, semi-private, or private lessons. The value of your booking will be fully preserved. Since a private or semi-private lesson has a higher hourly value than a group lesson due to the more intensive instruction, only the number of lesson hours may be reduced accordingly. So you won’t pay more, but you’ll receive a significantly more personalized training experience.
Social programme
We offer a social programme in the evenings: restaurant visits, BBQ evenings or parties (food and drinks and entrance fees are not included in the price). We therefore recommend that you book a hotel with breakfast only.

The Casa Cook is very popular among water sports enthusiasts and is the ideal starting point for your event thanks to its central location within walking distance of the water sports beach. Modern design hotel directly on the kite beach (500m walking distance). Luxurious living for design-savvy travellers in an oasis of peace. Standard rooms or villas with their own private pool, breakfast or dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. El Gouna also has other beautiful hotels. We will be happy to advise you! Flights and accommodation are not included in the event price.

KBC Events: What You Need to Know
Our events thrive on group participation. They’re designed for at least 3 participants; typically, 6 to 14 kitesurfers or wingfoilers join together at the starting line. That’s exactly what it’s all about: learning together, watching each other, picking up tips from one another—and discussing the session and sharing experiences in the evening. We deliberately focus on the social aspect of water sports, not just the lesson itself.
Not enough participants?
If, for any reason, only one or two participants have booked a session, your training will of course still take place. We’ll then put together an equivalent alternative for you—depending on your skill level, this could include joining an ongoing beginner or advanced course, or a private or semi-private training session.
Your event price will be fully credited toward the selected option: You won’t pay any more, but you’ll receive a more intensive experience. Please understand that the duration will change accordingly—a private lesson with the instructor’s undivided attention is significantly more valuable per hour than a group lesson, so the event price will be converted into the number of hours for the respective product. The value remains the same, and experience shows that the learning curve is actually steeper.
