Basic Course
8 hours over 2-3 days, 2-4 people
This course is perfect for anyone with previous experience in water sports, snow sports or wind sports and/or for gifted fast-learning individuals.
For those who have limited to no previous experience or who simply want very thorough training, we recommend the Intensive Basic Course.
The Basic Course consists of 8 hours in a group, spanning over 2-3 days of lessons, depending on conditions. Students will learn the essential elements of kitesurfing in groups of 2 to 4 people. In order to practice and to master the techniques, the second part of the course allows for plenty of practical training time. The aim of the course is to enable you to practice safely on your own after the course.
Contents:
- Introduction to the equipment (boards, 4-line delta kites)
- Kite setup
- Safety procedures (Land & Water)
- Kite flying exercises
- Fundamental theory
- Water start of the kite (Re-launch)
- Body drag - downwind and upwind
- Board work - doing the water start
- The first meters of riding downwind...

Intensive Basic Course
12 hours over 3-5 days, 2-4 people
This course is the right choice for anyone with little or no previous experience in water sports, snow sports or other wind sports, or who simply wants very thorough training with 4 extra hours compared to the Basic Course.
The Intensive Basic Course consists of 3-5 days with lessons, depending on conditions, with a total of 12 hours. In a group of 2 to 4 people, you will learn the essentiat elements of kitesurfing. In order to practice and to master the techniques, the second part of the course allows for plenty of practical training time. The aim of the course is to enable you to exercise safely on your own after the course.

The KBC Kite Event consists of a week of lessons taught by our professional and licensed VDWS- instructors. The event offers you a wide range of activities and targets kiters of all levels: beginners, intermediates and even experienced kiters.
Unluckily we offer the Kite Event only in German language.

KBC Event El Gouna
7 days kite event with 6 days tuition (each level), 1 day free practice time + storage plus VDWS licence and event lycra.
- 6 days tuition by the KBC teaching team (approx. 5 hours per day and free practice time)
- 1 day free practice time
- English and/or German language
- VDWS kitesurfing licence or upgrade
- KBC Event-Lycra
- Storage during the event for your own kites and boards.
- Please note: If you do not have your own kites and board, please book the "Upgrade Materialpool Event".
Please state your kite level when booking.
If there is a windless day or a day with too much wind over 25 knots, we will do alternative activities together, such as theory sessions, stand up paddling in the lagoons, snorkelling on the reefs, equipment knowledge and selfrescue. The activities are included in the event price. Therefore, we do not issue vouchers for windless days at events.
Upgrade Materialpool Event
7 days material pool for the kite camp: kites and boards from F-ONE.
Equipment rental during the Kite Event. This offer is only valid in connection with the booking of the Kite Event and cannot be booked separately.
Equipment insurance
Your kite equipment is insured during the course. However, as soon as you start training on your own, we recommend you take out insurance, e.g. the "Safety Tool" from the VDWS for only 39 euros per year. You can take out this on site - just let us know.
