Advanced course
4 hours in 1-2 days, 2-4 persons
You have graduated through a Basic Course, but you still don't feel confident to go on your own? Your last Basic Course was more than a year ago? You cannot yet do safe water starts? Then the Advanced Course is absolutely right for you.
The course is split into two parts. Part A is a refresher, Part B focusses on the water start.
Part A refreshes you briefly through the theory and practical parts. You will refresh your body-dragging techniques, downwind and upwind. You should be able to control the kite in every situation. Part B is water start exercises and riding the first meters.
During the course, the students (usually in pairs) share a kite and a board.

Advanced Course & Rental Package
If you would like to continue practicing on your own after the course, you can book one of our discounted packages which includes equipment rental. You have a huge variety to choose from in our rental store. These packages are always better value compared to single bookings at the station.

One-on-one instruction is aimed at everyone who wants to make progress quickly and wish individual support by one of our kite instructors. Would you like to learn something new? Jumping, front or backroll or kiteloops? If desired, you can also book beginner classes as a 4 or 8-hour individual training, if you prefer to study alone and not in the group.

No radio training
At KBC we are convinced of the training without radio training technique: In all courses your kitesurf instructor is always behind you. He gives you instructions, tips and corrections. He follows you, intervenes when needed and ensures your safety.
From radio training (with a helmet with phone) we are absolutely not convinced, because it turned out in practice as rather prone to failure: the radio does not always work, the student can not understand the kite instructor often, the helmet squeezes etc..
Equipment insurance
Your kite equipment is insured during the course. However, as soon as you start training on your own, we recommend you take out insurance, e.g. the "Safety Tool" from the VDWS for only 39 euros per year. You can take out this on site - just let us know.
