Kite Camp
Intensive training over 4 days with 15 hours training plus free practice time
No other type of course gets beginners on the board more safely. In a group of max. 6 participants, you will learn pretty much everything there is to know about kitesurfing over 5 days. On the first day, training takes place on the beach. Here you will learn what a spot check means, how to set up and take down a kite and the 3-stage safety system. Afterwards you will fly a soft kite on the beach. All other days take place on the water. We teach in the 2-buddy system. This means that two people always share a kite. The secret of the kite camp lies in the large number of repetitions of everything learnt. Because only those who consolidate their experience can master the next level. For this reason, after the 16 hours of lessons on the 5th day, there is still the opportunity for free practice time to gain as much kite and board experience as possible. At the end of the kite camp you will of course have the opportunity to obtain your IKO licence.
In total, the course offers about 16 hours of lessons in practice and theory plus free practice time with free use of the kite equipment (including wetsuit and harness).
Contents:
- big material science
- assembly and disassembly + tips and tricks
- Safety training (practice and theory)
- Flight school
- Theory (basic and advanced knowledge)
- Waterstart (relaunch) of the kite
- Bodydragging on all courses
- Waterstart with board
- Riding downwind the first meters
If the kite camp does not reach the full number of participants, the course hours will be reduced:
With 5–6 participants, the course has a standard duration of 15 hours.
With 3–4 participants, the course lasts 10 hours.
With only 2 participants, the course lasts 8 hours.

Equipment insurance
Your kite equipment is insured during the course. However, as soon as you start training on your own, we recommend you take out insurance, e.g. the "Safety Tool" from the VDWS for only 39 euros per year. You can take out this on site - just let us know.
